    This straighteners are so light and easy use. However, they might heat up quickly for lower heat settings, but take forever to heat up to 210° or 230°. If you're hair is thick I'm not sure I'd recommend them. I have short relatively fine hair, but a lot of it, and these straighteners are great for me, especially for the price. I've never waited around long enough to see them reach 230° degrees though as I can manage on less heat. My hair is then lovely and soft and stays straight until it's washed again. Great for waves as well as straightening and add a nice shine

    Although I have used ghds for decades, I wanted a much cheaper alternative for my daughter, and this set was an absolute steal at the price; definitely worth a try. They are super stylish and really quite cool for a young, almost teen. They heat up quickly and create smooth and silky straight hair. I also found them much lighter than my usual and easier to hold, which my daughter also likes. She also loves the colour and feels they are a bit more ‘her’ than my straighteners. My only negative was that they did feel and look cheaper than a set of ghds, but so far I haven’t noticed any difference in quality, so what’s not to love. I am thinking about myself some when a new set is needed. I really would recommend taking a chance with this set.

Just the straightener box with the label on it so anyone could have just opened it in transit. Luckily they didn’t and it arrived fine.

    I’ve used GHD straighteners for years and I was always loathe to try another brand.
    I saw these on Black Friday and thought I’d give them a go.
    They’re really great!
    Good quality, comfortable to use and they heat up really quickly. The various heat settings are an added bonus feature.
    The plates are a decent width; I have thick hair in a mid length inverted Bob, and my hair doesn’t snag or get caught. They glide seamlessly and style perfectly.
    I use the GHD heat protect and a Paul Mitchell smoothing serum so I do protect my hair as much as I possibly can, but these are absolutely fab!
    I love the lock option, so I can wrap them in my heat resistant pouch and pop them straight into my storage caddy.
